About the site
Bakewell Carnival, Live Entertainment, DA Float!
We'll have two fields, one will be in the main "dog field" with the stage and the other over the road as per 2022 & 2024.
This is going to be one of our best meets of the year, with a lot of focus on live entertainment and the carnival. In 2019, 2022 and 2023 the DA took part in the carnival and have won best float (2019 & 2022) - we'd like everyone to get involved with building the float at this meet and before at our Lees Meadow meet.
The site itself couldn't be more central/closer to Bakewell. The show ground has the river Derwent running through it and crossing the river over the bridge takes you into the town centre.Â
This is going to be popular meet, so please make sure you don't forget to book - we sold out in 28 days of opening last year!
