Site Overview
Tissington Trail, short walk to Pub, quiet village location, great for walks.
This site is to the right hand of the village hall, on Drury Lane. It has a tap for fresh water and the the Elsan is to be disposed of the chemical collection trailer supplied by the farmer/landowner.
A small village set high in the spectacular White Peak landscape. A very popular area with walkers.
Just off the A515 midway between Ashbourne and Buxton, Biggin is typical of a White Peak village, running along a single street. Buildings of note are the church of St Thomas, Biggin Hall and the Waterloo Inn, which has great food and drink for all (https://waterlooinnbiggin.com).
Nearby Biggin Grange was once farmed by Cistercian monks and the village is surrounded farmsteads and agricultural land.
Things to do; For walkers and cyclists the Tissington Trail runs through the entrance to the village.
Site Facilities - All sites have fresh water & elsan.
Arriving on site - You must report to the meet steward, have your membership card/s ready. The steward will take your details
