Easter Meet, Cromford Canal

Matlock rugby club. Large flat field, limited showers and toilets.

NOTE THAT THERE IS NO PLANNED ENTERTAINMENT OR ACTIVITIES FOR THIS MEET. ITS A FREE AND EASY WEEKEND.

Situated right next to the Cromford Canal which is perfect for walking and cycling. There is function room here that the DA hire for meeting in.

This site is perfect for mountain bikers that would like ride from site access to Riber, Black Rocks and the High Peak trail. The canal walking and cycling trails features a visitor small shop that sells snacks, hot and cold drinks.

Behind the site, within walking distance is Cromford Railway Station that has a direct line to Matlock Bath and Matlock, should you wish to have a day out without the driving.

Cromford canal close by good walking to Cromford mill, Cromford, Matlock Bath, Matlock Wirksworth local attractions and shop's Gulliver's Kingdom Heights of Abraham.

Arriving on site - You must report to the meet steward, have your membership card/s ready. The steward will take your details
and guide you to your ‘pitch’.

Approaching the site - As we are now using what3words to pinpoint our sites, navigation should be much easier and accurate.
