Site Overview

Bakewell Carnival, Live Entertainment, DA Float!

We'll have two fields, one will be in the main "dog field" (just the name of the field, nothing to do with allowing dogs!) with the stage and the other over the road as per 2022 & 2023.

This is going to be one of our best meets of the year, with a lot of focus on live entertainment and the carnival. In 2019, 2022 and 2023 the DA took part in the carnival and have won best float (2019 & 2022) - we'd like everyone to get involved with building the float at this meet and before at our Lees Meadow meet the weekend and days prior.

Stay tuned for more information on our theme and plan for the weekend.

The site itself couldn't be more central/closer to Bakewell. The show ground has the river Derwent running through it and crossing the river over the bridge takes you into the town centre.

This is going to be popular meet, so please make sure you don't forget to book quickly.

The fees stated assume no more than 2 adults per unit maximum per night. If there are anymore adults wishing to attend/camp in your unit, they are to be charged an additional £10 per unit per night AND must be a Camping and Caravanning Club member as this is a "meet".

Site Facilities - All sites have fresh water & elsan.

Agricultural Way, Bakewell DE45 1AH

Click the w3w address above to see the site location on the map, from there you can start navigation with any of the below apps using your phone or mobile device.

Approaching the site - As we are now using what3words to pinpoint our sites, navigation should be much easier and accurate. However to help spot the site as you approach, we place signs to let you know you are close by and to help guide you. Site entrances can be hard to spot so we also try to put a feather flag at the entrance so you don't drive past.
