This is Derbyshire DA's biggest meet of the year for the best bonfire, firework display and live entertainment. The weekend is a packed schedule of events from the moment you arrive on Thursday / Friday until you leave on Sunday by 3.00pm.
The site is a very large site, located at the Ukrainian Youth Associaton of Great Britain complex. The site has a huge hall to meet in throughout the weekend.
Its a great place to walk, with the canal backing on the site as well as being situated in the quiet village of Weston on Trent.
Weston on Trent boast a famous pub call The
Coopers Arms (https://coopers-arms.co.uk) which has a lot of heritage as well as its now fishing lake.
The fees stated assume no more than 2 adults per unit maximum per night. If there are anymore adults wishing to attend/camp in your unit, they are to be charged an additional £15 per unit per night AND must be a Camping and Caravanning Club member as this is a "meet".
The 2025 Bonfire Meet at Weston on Trent is one of the biggest camping events in Derbyshire. It runs from Thursday, 6 November 2025 to Sunday, 9 November 2025. Here's a glimpse of what to expect:
Event Details: Live entertainment, a spectacular bonfire and fireworks display, as well as a packed schedule of activities throughout the weekend. It's held at the Ukrainian Youth Association of Great Britain complex1.
Facilities and Fees: The site offers fresh water and elsan disposal facilities.
Location: Swarkestone Road, Weston-on-Trent, Derby (postcode DE72 2BU). The site is near the famous Coopers Arms pub, which features a fishing lake and a lot of heritage.

Saturday 8th November - Food Vendors outside the main hall from 5:00pm
11.00am - Indoor market stalls for a range of trade goods and crafts gifts on sale + CCC Members stalls for the all of your ‘car boot’ goodies for sale.
11.30am - ‘Build a guy’ - Outside the back of the main hall (weather depending) in the DDA event shelters down the field next to the bonfire. Bring your stuffing and fill the zip-up disposable overalls and personalise your guy ready for the ‘Best Bonfire Guy’ competition.
12.00 Noon - Build the bonfire.
6:00pm Food Vendors by the Bonfire and why not try a bite to eat and drink down by the fire.
6:30pm The last chance to purchase the raffle ticket for the Big Red Button to start the fireworks goes on sale.
6:55pm The Big Red Button raffle draw by the Chairman. The lucky winner starts the DDA Big Fireworks Spectacular for 2025.
7.00pm The Bonfire Spectacular begins in the field set to music behind the bonfire. This year we have a professional team Fireworks 2000 who will be send the rockets into the sky.
Bigger and more spectacular than your domestic fireworks, so prepare to be wowed!

11.00pm Close the main hall, sweep up and clear the room. And off to bed …

11:00 am Coffee / Tea and biscuits and a farewell chat.

Departure by 3.00pm - Have a good trip home!
