Holiday site at Darley Dale
May 26th-June 4th 2006The Holiday site at Darley Dale was well supported, the field was very wet when we arrived and the weather was unsettled over the bank holiday weekend making more puddles, typical English weather! Things did improve mid week helping to dry the field out. The last weekend we were able to put up the big tent for a get together with bingo and a quiz. It was nice to see campers from other areas especially from down south who didn't realise Derbyshire had such lovely scenery and places of interest to visit.

Here's a couple of photos taken at Darley Dale at the weekend. I think Gordon was tired out after he had helped Philip to put up their big tent for the weekend. The second group was myself and Alan along with past Derby DA members Sue and Dave White now from Somerset DA.
