Uppertown Farm, Carsington 2010
23 units attended this weekend's meet at Carsington. There were few "regular" members but very many visitors from Chase, Staffordshire, Leicestershire, Coventry, Notts and Chesterfield DA's.The weather was very pleasant all weekend and the view was outstanding. We were able to sit outside and overlook the lake and watch the boats sailing in the light breeze. Many of our visitors went walking or cycling and many asked why we didn't use this site more often.
It was slightly disappointing that no CCY joined us for the first of the training weekends but it gave Racheal a chance to practice her training with Beth and Charlie.
