ALSTONFIELD APRIL 21ST/23RD 2006
St GEORGES DAY MEETThe meet was expected to be very busy so we arrived early; in the end we only had 21 vans on site from 4 DA's.
Friday night was a free night, Saturday night was in the village hall with cheese and biscuits provided, bring your own drinks.
The ever resourceful Mrs Clulow and Phillip providing the entertainment, the highlight being the horse race, the horses where made of cardboard and the jockeys being hand knitted by Mrs Clulow while waiting to see the doctors at the hospital.
The evening ended by Phillip playing the traditional rousing English songs, "Land of hope and glory" etc.
We think every body enjoyed the weekend.
