Annual General Meeting ˜ Copt Oak, 18th February 2011
Report for D.D.A. A.G.M. and Valentines Meet 2011The A.G.M. went very well indeed. I feel I should start by thanking a few people.
I would like to thank Steve Lawton, for his work on the committee and also with stewarding meets. Also to Michelle Lowde, who has retired as webmaster after 5 years work in that role. Last, but not least, Debbie Drew, our Minutes Secretary, who had to make sense of the meetings. A big thanks to you all and we hope to receive your continued support with the D.A.
I am pleased to say Malcolm Drew, the Chairman for 2010 and Terry Cartman, Vice Chairman for the same period are both still on the committee. I'm sure I will need their help and advice over the coming year. Thanks to you both for last year!
Thanks also to Mrs Sue Taylor (Regional Secretary) who attended the meeting to ensure that we towed the line, and who�s help and advice is always appreciated. Thanks Sue!
We have two new committee members to add to our ranks, Joanne Mutch, our new Website Officer. This brings the website back under committee control. The site will be fully revamped and be brought up to date to try and win back the N.C.R. Website Award, awarded by Alan Slater (NCR Regional Chairman) annually. The second new member is Simon Chapman, who joins us as Regalia Officer. Simon has three children, giving our child numbers a much needed boost, this hopefully will encourage other young families to join us, as they are the future of the Club. Welcome on board both of you!

As you can see we have a full, healthy committee, who I look forward to working with over the next 12 months. The actual meet attracted 24 units. I would like to thank Dot and Joan for running the games for us, Malcolm for the Mr. And Mrs. Competition, stewards Alan and Jackie, Paul for running the disco and those who work behind the scenes, in the kitchen and re- arranging the hall for the different functions over the weekend.
As soon as the new website has been approved by Head Office and Region, and goes live, I'll let you know so that you can take advantage of it. If you should have any photos or anything members may find interesting, then please don't hesitate to contact Joanne, who I'm sure will be pleased to put them on the website you.
If you should come across any sites that may be suitable for the D.A. then please contact Pat Gordon. We are well on with the 2012 sites list, so it won't be long until you get a sneak preview, if you are on the mailing list.
