New Year meet 2007/8 

A good time was had by all, with some members starting a day early and some finishing a day later. The old favourite The Ukranian Youth Centre being the venue, the field held up very well with 31 units attending. We had the hall every night, with home grown entertainment supplied by Dot and crew, Phil with the disco and Julie with the Beetle Drive. Thanks to Jodie and Kirsty for judging the table decorations. The New Years Eve itself was very well attended by a multitude of Pirates. Karl drew winning the adult section and Joshua Taylor of Chase DA winning the junior section. Thanks again to those who made the effort to dress up and decorate the tables. The small games night was won by Julie Jackson after a resounding performance on the pinball machine, a throw back to a miss spent youth I think. The American supper supplied by all of the members was a feast to behold, with plenty for everyone.
