Easter 2008

Lower Dunsforth, Nr York.

After a rough start to the week-end weather wise, things improved greatly.
With a turn out of 21 units from many DA’s, the week end was a success. Unable to erect the tent due to poor weather conditions, the members attending made their own fun, with egg tossing, which Karl won and Easter bonnet, which Pat won. Members built snow men and an igloo while they were served coffee and hot-cross buns by the committee. The Easter Bunny was in attendance, as with tradition, giving a chocolate egg to each unit.
Thanks to all those who attended for their support.
We would like to use this site at Lower Dunsforth for a THS in the future, so keep an eye out, it’s a great venue, close to York, large trading estates and 45m from Scarborough etc.
